The Yardbirds
The Yardbirds were an influential British rock group active in the 1960s, known for their pioneering work in blues rock and psychedelic rock. The band is particularly remembered for being an incubator for three of rock music's most prominent guitarists: Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page. The Yardbirds' music is characterized by experimental arrangements, innovative guitar technique and a strong blues influence. Their ability to fuse blues with rock elements and create exciting and dynamic soundscapes made them one of the most respected and influential groups of the British rock explosion.
